Crescent Resources - Uranium and Gold in South America
Crescent Resources Corp. (CRC-TSX-V) is actively exploring for gold in the Rattlesnake Hills District in Wyoming, USA. Crescent's property consists of ten blocks of mining claims totaling approximately 9,000 acres and is targeting gold mineralization in Eocene-age alkaline and sub-alkaline volcanic/sub-volcanic rocks and associated structures which are known to host gold mineralization in the Rattlesnake Hills district.

Highlights:
  • Crescent has the option to own 100% of the Rattlesnake Hills Properties which cover approximately 9,000 acres adjacent to, and in the same geological environment as Evolving Gold's Rattlesnake Hills property.
  • The adjacent property owned by Evolving Gold hosts a significant new gold deposit which has yielded drill intercepts of 10.8 g/t gold over 67.1 meters and 2.64 g/t over 158 meters.
  • Many key phonolite intrusions (stocks), which are considered to be the focus of local gold mineralization at the Rattlesnake Hills are found on Crescent's land position
  • Strong geological comparisons to Cripple Creek Gold District in Colorado where over 25 million ounces have been mined to date.
  • 2009 field work on Crescent's property has identified potential drill targets for 2010.
